We are looking for an experienced assessor to deliver effective training, learning and assessment to learners within the engineering industry both in the workplace and College. This exciting role will proactively seek out new business opportunities and promote training delivery to employers.

Applicants must possess a recognised industry qualification in a related subject area to at least level 3.

An assessor qualification is essential, as is level 2 qualifications in English, Mathematics and IT or a willingness to work towards these qualifications in a timely manner.

Relevant work related experience in an appropriate vocational area is also required.

PTHP Construction Workshop Technician

Hours: Up to 18.5 hours per week - term time only
Salary: £11.85 per hour

Working as a member of a vocational team, you will provide effective technical support for staff and students within the Bricklaying, Carpentry and Electrical Installation curriculum area, ensuring that the provision operates to a consistently high standard. You will maintain the workshops and its equipment to a high level of safety, ensure stock levels are maintained and issue equipment to students. You will also provide support to tutors during practical supervision.

Experience of working in a construction environment and knowledge of current building regulations, practices, procedures and legislation is essential.

Lecturer in Engineering (Electrical Installation)

Hours: 37 hours per week (full time)
Salary: Up to £32,475 per annum

This is an excellent role within one of Cheshire's leading Colleges to provide a high quality learning service for our learners through the delivery of a portfolio of programmes and levels and to participate in curriculum development.

The post will involve the marketing, effective planning, delivery, assessment and internal verification of Electrical Installation courses, and will involve some teaching within the Adult provision.

Applicants must possess a minimum level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent, and a Teaching Qualification to Cert Ed/PGCE or equivalent (or a willingness to undertake a formal teaching qualification to required national standards) is also essential.

Marketing Administration Apprentice

Hours: 37 hours per week (full time) - 2 year fixed term contract

Working within the Marketing Team this new and exciting role will focus on the development of digital marketing and communications to interact with potential and existing students to ensure the College understands market demand and use new media to best effect to communicate with its target audiences. If you are a confident communicator who loves to innovate and try new ideas this could be the post for you!

The role supports the wider operations of the Marketing Unit with tasks ranging from administration, attending promotional events, use of social media and direct communications with existing and potential learners to engage and inform.

Customer Services Apprentice

Hours: 37 hours per week (full time) - 2 year fixed term contract

Working as part of the front line Customer Services Team, this post will play a vital part in the successful recruitment of as well as welcoming visitors and liaising with staff.

The role also supports the wider operations of the Customer Services Team and the work carried out to engage, inform and enroll learners.

The reception service operates a shift system and evening and occasional weekend work will be required. This is an exciting and varied role perfect for a confident candidate with excellent communication skills and a passion for working with people.

You will be required to complete the Apprenticeship Framework in Customer Service Level 3.
