Macclesfield College and the Learning Zone Sixth Form College (LZ6) provide high quality education for school leavers from across the area from their base on the state-of-the-art Macclesfield Learning Zone campus. The College has been built around what you need and is designed to inspire you to succeed. It benefits from industry-standard training facilities including the European Centre for Aerospace Training (ECAT), the Pure Hair and Beauty Salon, the Silk Room Restaurant, the sports hall and fitness centre and a number of specialist art and design studios.
And it's not just the facilities you'll like. Our friendly experienced tutors will share your ambitions and enthusiasm and support you to reach your goals, whether that's going on to university, further training or employment. You can choose to study from the extensive range of A level courses at LZ6, or an exciting range of vocational and occupational courses in the specialist College facilities. Remember, if you're aged 16-18, you won't have to pay tuition fees for any of our full-time courses.
