Hair and Beauty students from Macclesfield College's Pure Hair and Beauty Salon have been doing their bit to raise money for Red Nose Day.

This year's theme is 'Do Something Funny for Money' but for Bargain Booze worker Luke Chapman it was more like 'laugh through the pain' as he had his legs waxed by Beauty Therapy students Megan Murtagh and Sammie Shuttleworth.

Luke bravely volunteered for the treatment in the name of charity and with the help of his mates from the Buxton Road pub the Puss in Boots, he raised £110.

NVQ Hairdressing students also dressed up in fluorescent tutus for the day and collected donations from clients.
