Girls See More at Siemens

20 pupils from Years 2 and 5 of Dean Valley Primary School in Bollington recently toured the Siemens factory in Congleton, taking in the CAD (Computer Aided Design) department and enjoying Engineering related games and competitions.

Dean Valley is part of Macclesfield College's 'Engineering - Girls Can Do It Too' project, which introduces local girls to the opportunities available in Engineering.

The project aims to show the girls what is involved in modern Engineering jobs and how these exciting careers can be accessed by studying Science, Maths, Technology and Engineering.
