Creative Media students collaborate with Ashfield Healthcare Communications

Macclesfield College’s Creative Media students recently created a recruitment video for one of the town’s largest employers, Ashfield Healthcare Communications.

The students worked alongside staff at Ashfield Healthcare Communications to get a better knowledge of the company before presenting their ideas and making a successful video.

Macclesfield media student, Tom Willis, said that collaborating with Ashfield had been ‘invaluable’ to him.

“I thoroughly enjoyed working with Ashfield as part of my college course. The opportunity of being able to work with a company as prestigious as Ashfield Healthcare Communications will look fantastic on my CV. I feel that the knowledge I have gained is invaluable, to my education and future career; I now feel I have a much better understanding of the global, healthcare communications industry.”

Commenting on the final edit of the video Tracey Ellis, HR Recruiter said, “The final edited video is fantastic. It truly captures what it’s like to work here at Ashfield Healthcare Communications and the global opportunities that are open to our employees. We’ll be using the video as a recruitment tool on our careers page and promoting it through all of our social media channels.”

“The video is a powerful tool that we will also be showing at future career fairs, helping to educate people about the opportunities that exist within the healthcare communications sector. It will provide a platform that will allow us to reach and engage with local students to raise our profile as a progressive employer within the area, and to help spread the word about our career opportunities to younger audiences, the next generation of pharma and healthcare communications professionals.”
