Julie Hamer, Director of Incubation Arts is pleased to announce:
Sound (Track) is an exciting collaboration between Macclesfield College Art students and Incubation Arts which will be displayed at Charles Roe House, Chestergate, Macclesfield.
Music is at the heart of this collaborative project. Students have taken inspiration from their own life experience and the music that is associated with this. Students studying photography, graphics, fine art and fashion will be showing their work. Professional Photographers, Nigel Maitland, Martin O'Neill, Anthony Mulryan and Graphic Illustrator Nick Oldham have kindly agreed to showcase images relating to the Manchester Music scene.
The exhibition will be opened by Stephen Morris drummer of New Order.
The funds raised from the exhibition will be donated to the charity of Incubation Arts to support the renovation of Charles Roe House into an Arts & Cultural Centre, with a permanent Joy Division Exhibition being the cornerstone.
If you would like to attend our special private viewing on Wednesday 24th February 7.00pm you can purchase your tickets from Macclesfield College main reception.
