Counselling Concepts at Beechwood Cancer Care Centre

Macclesfield College of Further and Higher Education are proud to be working with Beechwood Cancer Care to run the ABC Level 2 Award in Counselling Concepts course.

This qualification is designed as a basic generic introduction to counselling for those who have had no previous experience of, or training in, the field of counseling and is ideal for those who are considering embarking on formal counselling training as an intended career change.

Delivered at the Beechwood Cancer Care Centre on Chelford Road in Stockport, this 10 week course will enable you to develop your communication skills, and help you to explore and reflect on your own personal awareness. You will study concepts in counselling thus gaining some valuable skills to facilitate others to explore their thoughts and feelings. The skills learnt are transferable in both your personal and working life.

Date of first course: Monday 4 January 2016, 9.30am-12.30pm
