Our Hospitality and Events Management courses mix academic and practical skills with superb work experience in top rated hotels throughout the region.
You will gain experience to help you enter employment at trainee management level or progress on to university.
Students aspiring to become professional chefs will train in the College’s professionally equipped kitchens and students studying Restaurant Services will gain experience in the stylish ‘Silk Room’ commercial restaurant and licensed bar. We have very strong links with industry and regularly invite top chefs to host ‘Signature Meal’ evenings, providing an excellent opportunity for students to learn from their experience.
As part of the course, you will attend catering exhibitions across the UK and have the opportunity to visit a number of European countries renowned for their food and drink.
We have an excellent reputation for producing highly trained professionals - many previous students have gone on to become top chefs at prestigious establishments, gained trainee management posts in London hotels, or have progressed to university to study Hospitality and Events Management.
Entry requirements will be discussed in detail at admissions interviews for all courses. Please note, the availability of all courses is dependent on the sufficient number of students. You are advised to also consider second choice subjects.
If you have found employment within a hotel or restaurant then we may be able to organise an Apprenticeship for you. Apprentice Training is also available in Hospitality/Professional Cookery, Front of House and Customer Service.
