Higher Education

Mortar board on a pile of booksYou don’t have to travel far to study for a Higher Education qualification.  If you’re 18 or over, you can boost your career prospects and experience university level study on one of Macclesfield College’s full-time or part-time Higher Education courses.

  • More affordable than going to university
  • Small groups mean more individual attention and better working relationships with your lecturers
  • The full-time and part-time options can still leave time for employed work or family commitments

The College has a dedicated Higher Education Centre as well as industry-standard training facilities for creative subjects and ECAT, one of the best aerospace training centres in the UK.

Our HE lecturers have excellent links with local universities and employers, and Macclesfield College is part of the Cheshire HE Consortium as well as being an Associate College of Manchester Metropolitan University. Macclesfield College also works alongside the University of Chester as part of the Cheshire and Warrington Lifelong Learning Network (LLN).
