This course will provide the knowledge to manage safely and effectively in compliance with both the organisation's policy and best practice in health and safety.
Who is it for?
Managing Safely is a course for managers and supervisors in any sector or organisation. It’s designed to give information required to help them handle health and safety within their teams.
To enable the required staff of an organisation to obtain practical actions they need to handle health and safety, and gain a step by step knowledge and guidance, with a business focus to ensure compliance with legislation.
You will need good literacy skills and the ability to write assignments and reports.
Preferably you will have a Health and Safety responsibility within the organisation.
Managing Safely consists of seven modules :

* Assessing risks
* Controlling risks
* Understanding your responsibilities
* Understanding hazards
* Investigating accidents and incidents
* Measuring performance
Learners are assessed by a multiple choice examination and a workplace risk assessment during the course.
