This course offers a basic introduction to help you develop essential business and finance skills.
Who is it for?
The purpose of this practical qualification is to equip learners with the skills that cover core areas of working within a business environment, focusing on fundamental finance and accounting skills and developing your professional business skills.

The entry level consists of four units:
1 Mathematics for accounting
2. Essential accounting procedures

Follow up courses/Progression
Learners can progress either to the Level 2 Diploma in Accounting or the Level 2 Bookkeeping qualifications.
In addition to the course fee you may be required to become a member of the AAT at a cost of £40 and buy a student text book at a cost of £18.95.
