This course offers a basic introduction to help you develop essential business and finance skills.

Who is it for?
The purpose of this practical qualification is to equip learners with the skills that cover core areas of working within a business environment, focusing on fundamental finance and accounting skills and developing your professional business skills.

Entry Requirements
You’re currently seeking employment and looking for strong new skills to take to the workplace
English is your second language and you’re wanting to build on your business communication skills
You’re looking to complete a short qualification before committing to a larger study programme

The entry level consists of four units:
1 Mathematics for accounting
2. Essential accounting procedures

Follow up courses/Progression
Learners can progress either to the Level 2 Diploma in Accounting or the Level 2 Bookkeeping qualifications.

Additional Information
In addition to the course fee you may be required to become a member of the AAT at a cost of £40 and buy a student text book at a cost of £18.95.
