This course is aimed at training a person to recognise the scale of an emergency, preserve of life and arrange appropriate help for the casualty. This course complies with the relevant legislation - Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Who is it for?
People who wish to learn first aid, those acting as an appointed person in the workplace and those supporting a qualified first aider in the workplace. This course is also applicable to those employed in a low risk working environment with less than 50 employees.
Learners will obtain the relevant knowledge and skills to undertake First Aid and gain the confidence via practical exercises to administer first aid.
There are no entry requirements for this course but you will need to be physically able to carry out practical sessions of CPR, Recovery Position and Bandaging.
