Courses for learners aged 19 and over

The following courses may be of interest to you if you are currently unemployed and in receipt of an eligible benefit and would like to study a course that may help you find employment.

Government Funded (Other) - If you are unemployed and in receipt of JSA, ESA (in WRAG) or Universal Credit (and are mandated to undertake skills training) OR you are unemployed, receiving any other state benefit, are undertaking this course to help you find employment and the learning is directly relevant to your employment prospects , your tuition and exam fees will be waived.

PCDL (Personal Community Development Learning) - These courses are only available to people aged 19 and over. Students can only study one PCDL course in any given academic year. If you are unemployed and in receipt of JSA, ESA (in WRAG) or Universal Credit (and are mandated to undertake skills training) OR you are unemployed, receiving any other state benefit, are undertaking this course to help you find employment and the learning is directly relevant to your employment prospects, your tuition fees will be waived.
