The College is based on the state-of-the-art Macclesfield Learning Zone campus, which opened in September 2007 and includes the Sixth Form College (LZ6), The Macclesfield Academy, Park Lane School and a joint Sports Hall and Fitness Centre.
Macclesfield Learning Zone has been built around what you need and is designed to inspire you to succeed. The College benefits from industry-standard training facilities including the European Centre for Aerospace Training (ECAT), the Pure Hair and Beauty Salon, the Silk Room Restaurant and a number of specialist art and design studios.
School leavers can choose to study from the extensive range of A level courses at the Learning Zone Sixth Form College, or an exciting range of vocational and occupational courses in the specialist College facilities. Macclesfield College provides the ideal place to study and our experienced tutors will share your ambitions and support you to reach your goals, whether that's going on to university, further training or employment. Adults can access courses at Macclesfield College to help them get back into employment, change direction, boost their existing skills or just learn for fun. We offer courses at all levels from Pre-Entry Level to Higher Education Degrees and many courses can be studied on a part-time basis to fit around work or family commitments.
