Macclesfield College has been recognised by the Quality Improvement Agency (QIA) for its excellence in teaching, learning and leadership and been designated with the prestigious award of Learning and Skills Beacon status.

Our Student and Customer Services team has been awarded Matrix Accreditation for the provision of Information, Advice and Guidance services. The Matrix Standard is the national quality standard for any organisation that delivers information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work.
The Disability Symbol is issued by Jobcentre Plus in recognition of employers who have agreed to meet commitments regarding the recruitment , employment, retention, and career development of disabled people.
By using the Symbol, the College hopes to make it clear to disabled people that it welcomes job applications from all sections of the community and will focus on applicants' abilities.
The Investors in Careers award is a nationally recognised quality standard for the management of careers education. It is a recognised symbol for excellence and helps to highlight the relevance of the College's activities to the world or work along with promoting inclusiveness.
